This is a task from our english book (stunt) we were supposed to write a letter to the main character in "Brick lane" as her sister.

Brick lane

مهمهلا، أختي (Hello, my sister)

I will leave you this note, so you can remember me better. I have heard many great things about London, from people in the town. I heard that you have learned two words in English, which is a good start. I hope you learn the language soon, so you can teach me it. I really want to move to you. There is a big difference between here and London, a lot more people there.

I hope that everything will work out with you and Chanu. I am not married yet, but I am still looking for one to marry me. We been running for days, but I think it is okay now. I have been moving between lots of countries lately. The food supplies is running low, and I used all my money to send this letter to you. I have not talked to anybody for a while; I had to keep my head low for a long time, because I was afraid after what happened home.

I have tried to settle down for a while now in Ukraine, this looks like a nice place to live. In London, there are probably a whole lot more people than were I have been. In this town, I can find a job and maybe build myself a home, and you could come visit me. I hope we could stay in touch forever, and visit each outer even though we live so far apart, without spending too much cash.
